Changes to come.

Monday, July 31, 2006

This blog has become more of a diary lately than I had intended it to be. This is probably due to the fact that I haven't had enough time to do any crafting at all lately. Things are probably going to change soon since I already have a diary type blog for friends and family to keep up with what we are doing. I would like to really focus on the craft side of things but it's been a challenge since summer keeps us so busy. I haven't even got it together enough to get an etsy shop going which I have been dreaming about for over six months now. so look for changes coming soon.

Portugese Aquaman

This is another photograph my parents took. It was in Portugal I believe, just last spring. I really love this image.

Thursday is Market Day here

This is a picture of the Joshua Tree in New Mexico , I think. Mom & Dad took this on their trip last fall and since I haven't been sewing, I've been fooling with Mom's software on her computer. The original is in colour; I modified it. Any comments?

I will be at the Arts Centre in Kelowna here while I am visiting with my parents for some vacation time. It has been really hot - a heat wave infact. On Thursday I will be selling at a craft market that my Mom has been participating in with her hand made baubles and things.
Hopefully it won't be too hot for the customers to shop. I hope to have photos of that venue since I haven't ever remembered to bring my camera to any of my other gigs to date.

More Stuff to Blog On Vacation

So we are at my parent's place visiting. It is great. Their home is like a luxury resort without the big bill. Across from an award-winning vineyard, right on the water, in the fruit belt. And to top it off, the new next door neighbour is an NHL hochey player!!! Woop Woop!

Here is Mom's cat, Willie. Such a beautiful feline and a sweetheart too.

We went out tubing today and it was a blast. It was too choppy for water skiing but my daughter is keen to try it when the wind dies down. In the meantime, H2O is very refreshing and there i lots to do around here, just not much crafting foing on.

Happy 40th Birthday, DC!!!

This was taken a few days ago at the surprize birthday party of a very important person. Everyone had a good time there. D was completely surprized, despite the fact that she prides herself on the fact that she always knows what is going on in the lives of her family & friends. We had her fooled this time, thanks to L for setting the whole thing up.

Fun Interlude

M caught this one day for the kids somehow. I could not believe it sat there long enough for me to snap a picture.

In other news, I have been very busy. Hence the lack of posts. Summer has been action packed so far with no end in sight anytime soon. We do have a bit of a break in the hot hot weather though which has been quite refreshing.
I did find an interesting site for those of you who may be bored and surfing the web for something to do. This is fun but I warn you not to put it into your list of favourites!
